70-year-old shop owner was robbed of ₹1 lakh in Delhi's Harsh Vihar area on Monday evening, police said. The incident took place in front of the victim's store.
According to the police, the victim, Sansar Singh, was closing his shop around 9 pm when two men on a motorcycle approached him. The men tried to snatch the bag from him, but Mr. Singh fought back.
One of the men then pulled out a gun and threatened Mr Singh, who then handed over his bag.The bag contained cash in the amount of CZK 1,000. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.
The police have registered a case and are trying to identify the robber based on the CCTV footage.
